Private Rooms & Entire House Accommodations
Whether you are seeking a room on your way to enjoying a Penn State Football game, exploring Central PA for its outdoor adventures, or planning an antiquing or ski trip, we are the Inn for you.
You may rent a private room with a shared bath or half the house with a private bath. Private Rooms have access to either the French Dreams or the Pink Dreams bathroom and come with a personal bath basket with a new bath mat and luxury bath items, along with an “Occupied” sign for the bathroom door.
Don’t want to share a bath? That’s ok click rent a half house, and two or three rooms and a bath will be yours to enjoy.

Wine, tea, and coffee are often shared in the dining area at 5 PM as a way to encourage guests to mingle. Innkeepers live onsite in the InnKeeper Suite in the attic. Inn also has three beautiful cats you may see roaming the common areas – so if you are allergic, we may not be the place for you. Come rest awhile at Das Gasthaus.

The Indigo Room
The Indigo room takes you outside the box with what can be done with colors. It’s meant to have the guest learning and dreaming of exploration and new seasons. With special things from the Innkeepers personal collections – favorite books to art from one of their sons, to antique finds, you will be inspired to start exploring PA and beyond. This room has access to the Pink Dreams bathroom and a private bath basket which includes a private bath mat and luxury bath items, along with an “In Use” sign for the bathroom door. Sunset Rose
This room painted in barely pink screams comfort and bliss. Whether you are curling up in the oversized comfy chair with a good book, or enjoying a glass of wine on the bed, you will feel at home and deserving. All we can say is sweet dreams. City Dreams
The largest room in the house, City Dreams was designed around a love for Art Deco and Eclectic Decor. With a king sized bed, seating areas, and great art, you won’t want to leave. This sweet little room is small but mighty. You will immediately notice the light and feel like you stepped back in time. Bedroom Comforts
Quality linens and pillows make your stay comfortable. All bathroom items will be provided in your private bath basket. You will find aromatherapy options in every guest room as well. Two bathrobes make for a special evening or morning. Ask about one of our customized packages to make your stay even more special.
Social Hour
Join us at 5 PM most afternoons for social hour for tea, lemonade, water, and refreshments. Weekends include wine and cheese. You may stay on a weekend when entertainment is provided.
Washer & Dryer/Dishwasher
Onsite Laundry and full bath available for use by all guests. If you’re showering in the downstairs bath, simply use your “Occupied” sign. Onsite dishwasher is available for guests – just ask Innkeeper for asisistance. Guests are welcome to find space in the shared refrigerator as well. If you are looking to cook, permission must be provided by Innkeeper – depending on the calendar.
Checkin & Checkout
After many stays in Bed and Breakfasts and dreading early checkouts, we try to be flexible. We make every attempt to cater to our guests. If you need a late check out – just ask. If we are full, we will do our best to accomodate your request.
House Rules
We wish to provide you with a relaxing stay in Claysburg, PA and sincerely hope you will enjoy staying in our Inn as much as we do. Anything you need, ask. As long as it’s legal and moral, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation Policy
We understand things happen. You may cancel up to 72 hours before check in. You will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of booking you will receive a full refund.
